DESCRIPTION:Safeskies Australia celebrated 30 years of independent aviation safety education in 2023, having held our biennial Safeskies conference since 1993. Each one of those conferences has showcased contemporary approaches to aviation safety. Past conferences have focused on a range of themes, including ‘Setting the right aviation safety culture’; ‘Safety in the globalised economy’; Learning the lessons of the past’; ‘Making safety management systems work’; and ‘Training and change’.\nThe 2026 theme is ‘Safety collaboration 2.0’.\nThe conference runs over two days, with the conference dinner and Sir Reginald Ansett Memorial Lecture to be held on Wednesday evening, 20 May in the Federation Ballroom of the Hyatt Hotel.\n
