Aviation Australia’s main campus is situated near the Brisbane International Airport and offers training in aircraft maintenance engineering, cabin crew, pilot and remote pilot.
Our Technical Training Centre features a fully operational hangar with a wide range of static aircraft and an industry standard operating environment.
The following aircraft are invaluable training aids that allow students to learn and carry out actual repairs and maintenance on real aircraft under the supervision of licensed and fully accredited training staff.
The Technical Training Centre also features:
Our Flight Safety Training Centre is the Asia-Pacific region’s first independent cabin crew training facility and is fully equipped to deliver the best training in the industry, with a full practical hall area, as well as a large pool.
Cabin crew students undertake training using cabin simulators, mock-ups, door trainers and survival rafts in an authentic simulated environment. Students will experience first-hand, all scenarios which life as a flight attendant could feature, enabling them to be holistically trained and prepared to succeed in their career with an airline.
Training aides and equipment includes:
The B737 Cabin Trainer incorporates audio/visual effects, a working communication system and closed-circuit cameras to monitor emergency procedure scenarios.
The Wide-Body Cabin Trainer can be utilised for fire/smoke simulations, decompression scenarios as well as for service training with a working oven. Our central, glassed supervisors’ station will ensure a comprehensive observation and evaluation process can be undertaken with playback video and microphones.
Bullex Fire Trainer for live fire training.
Doors available for training include: B737 Main door, OWE/B767/B747/B777/B787/A320/A330 Type A, Type 1 and Dash 8.
