Instructor Role Requirements

If you would like the opportunity to pass on your knowledge and passion for Aviation to our students, please see the key requirements below for our Instructing positions:

Technical Instructor (Mechanical, Avionics or Structures)
Essential

  • A Certificate IV in Aeroskills, or the ability to obtain the competencies associated with the Certificate IV.
  • An English proficiency of IELTS 5.5 or equivalent qualification as a minimum is required when the applicant’s country of origin does not have English as the first language.

Desirable

  • A Diploma of Aeroskills, or the ability to obtain the competencies associated with the Diploma.
  • A current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or a higher recognised qualification in teaching/training
  • Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) licence.

 

Technical Assessment Specialist
Essential

  • A recognised trade Certificate as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in a relevant stream.

Desirable

  • A current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or a higher recognised qualification in teaching/training
  • Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) licence

 

Cabin Crew Instructor
Essential

  • A current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or a higher recognised qualification in teaching/training
  • 3 years in Cabin Crew role
  • Experience in delivering training

Desirable

  • First Aid Certificate
  • RSA

 

RPAS Instructor
Essential

  • A current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or a higher recognised qualification in teaching/training
  • RePL
  • A CASA Remote Pilot or Commercial Pilot Licence
  • An English proficiency of IELTS 5.5 or equivalent qualification as a minimum is required when the applicant’s country of origin does not have English as the first language

Desirable

  • CERT III in Aviation (Remote Pilot)
  • 2 years industry experience
  • Part 61 Flight instructor rating

We’re seeking two aviation enthusiasts with a passion for teaching to join our team in Brisbane on a full-time basis. Both the Avionics and Mechanical instructing roles will be responsible for teaching the next generation of aircraft maintenance engineers.

In this role you will work independently to effectively instruct theory and practical requirements to students within the applicable trade stream. This role has a strong customer service focus and is key to providing exceptional support to our students and stakeholders.

Customer Experience Representative

If you love helping people by delivering exceptional customer service, then Aviation Australia has just the role for you. Our Customer Experience Representatives are part of our newly created Customer Experience and Marketing team and will play an important role in creating great first impressions that exceed customer expectations.

Apprentice AME (Mechanical) 2 positions

We are looking for motivated people who are passionate to develop their careers further with us as Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs). We currently have two Apprentice Mechanical AME positions available in our Brisbane location.

These apprentice roles will not only enable the successful candidates to complete their Certificate IV in Aeroskills with us as the leading Aviation training provider in Australia but will also offer them the opportunity to assist with aircraft maintenance and associated tasks in the mechanical trade stream.
