If you are interested in starting a career in Aviation, we have a range of Engineering focused courses that will put you on the right track.

Our Career Starter courses offer different pathways to suit your individual circumstances and goals. These are divided into 2 core categories; Pre-apprentice and Apprentice/Trainee.

Pre-apprenticeship, delivers the essential underpinning vocational theory training towards the Certificate IV in Aeroskills (in Mechanical, Structures or Avionics). This option is available in Queensland only.

Apprenticeship/Traineeship, An apprenticeship is a learning pathway that combines on the job training and formal training in a qualification with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). You will need to be employed in the industry to enrol in a course.

Career Enhancer

Are you already in the industry? Aviation Australia offers a broad range of training outcomes including initial licence qualifications, exclusion removal, cross category training, aircraft type training and licence requalification assessments.

As a CASR Part 147 Maintenance Training Organisation, Aviation Australia holds approval to deliver CASR Part 66 training and examinations, practical competency training and assessment, and Recognition of Prior Learning to aircraft maintenance engineers against all CASR Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence categories.
