This course provides personnel with awareness of the CASR framework and of their responsibilities with respect to CASA regulatory requirements for Authorised Maintenance Organisations (AMO).

As laid out in 145.A.30 of the EASA and CASA Part 145 regulations; organisations have to establish and control the competence of personnel involved in any maintenance, development of maintenance programs, airworthiness reviews, management and/or quality audits.
Although this training is not mandatory, initial and continuation training would be required, especially as maintenance organisations are currently transitioning from CAR30 to CASR Part 145.
