Aviation Australia’s self-study theory packages are comprised of training material and initial examinations for the category/sub-category of licence sought.
The CASR Part 66 Basic Knowledge Syllabus and Examination Standard can be found in Appendix I and II of the CASR Part 66 Manual of Standards.
The EASA Part 66 Basic Knowledge Syllabus and Exam Standard can be found in Appendix I and II to Annex III (Part 66) of Commission Regulation (EU) No 1321/2014.

Self-Study
Access to the self-study training material is via our online learning management system (LMS).
CASR Part 66 or EASA Part 66 initial examinations are included within the package. Any re-sit examinations required would incur the full examination fee, as advertised.
CASR Part 66 or EASA Part 66 examinations must be sat at one of our approved exam locations. All examination bookings must be made via our website. (Any exam booking made for an (ASPEQ) location will incur a third party admin booking fee of $150 AUD).
CASR Part 147 or EASA Part 147 Certificate of Recognition will be issued for CASR or EASA Part 66 examinations passed at 75% or above.
