B2 to B1.1 and B1.3 Practical Training

Our practical courses cover the units of competency (MEAs) required when adding the B1.1 or B1.3 sub-category to your existing CASR Part 66 B2 Licence.

Week A contains: MEA148,MEA323,MEA325, MEA328, MEA339 & MEA365

B1.1 Week B contains: MEA208, MEA219, MEA209, MEA222, MEA398, MEA303, MEA305, MEA306, MEA317, MEA318, MEA 319, MEA320, MEA321, MEA322, MEA307 and MEA315

B1.3 Week B contains: MEA398, MEA303, MEA304, MEA306, MEA308, MEA309, MEA310, MEA316, MEA319 and MEA322

Requirements
  1. If you are not yet an Aviation Australia customer, please Contact Us or enrol via the RPL section of our website.
  2. Applicants must have at least two years’ practical experience in aircraft maintenance.

Outcome:

  1. Upon successful completion of assessments, practical element of MEAs will be recorded and RPL reports and/or Journals will be updated.
  2. MEAs will only be fully signed-off once all underpinning theory and pre-requisite Units of Competency have been satisfied.

B1 to B2 Licence Practical Competency Training

This training is applicable to employees of airlines and other operators that currently hold a Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) B1.1 Mechanical Licence (without exclusions E1, E4, E5 and/or E7) and wish to upskill their qualification to include a CASA B2 Avionics Licence.
