Under CASR 61.645 (3), 61.685 (3) and 61.870 (3) the holder must conduct at least 1 instrument approach operation in an aircraft or flight simulator of the same category within the previous 90 days to satisfy the recent experience requirements.

Bespoke package example: 2 hour package comprising a LOFT exercise involving normal and non-normal operations, 2D and 3D instrument approach recency is $595 +GST.
