Aviation Australia does not currently hold funding approval in the Australian Capital Territory. The information on this page is for New South Wales only.

Aviation Australia is an approved provider of User Choice Training with the Department of Education – Training Services, New South Wales. Funding is provided under the “Smart & Skilled” program for the following:

MEA20518 – Certificate II in Aircraft Line Maintenance
MEA30118 – Certificate III in Aircraft Surface Finishing
MEA40618 – Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Avionics)
MEA40718 – Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical)
MEA41322 – Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Structures)
MEA50118 – Diploma of Aeroskills (Avionics)
MEA50219 – Diploma of Aeroskills (Mechanical)

The qualifications listed on this page are part of the Fee Free Apprenticeship Initiative. This is subject to change and if applicable, we will advise Employers & Apprentices of any changes.

Training

Theory training can be conducted at most Aviation Australia campuses.

Financial Support

Travel and Accommodation allowance
Apprentices or new entrant trainees who have to travel more than 120kms (round trip) to attend day or block release training, may be able to apply for financial assistance from the Vocational Training Assistance Scheme (VTAS).
