B1 to B2 Practical Training

Our practical course covers the units of competency (MEAs) required when adding the B2 category to your existing CASR Part 66 B1 Licence.

This is a 5-day course with options to sit-in on specific parts of the course to suit your requirements, as detailed in your RPL report.

Applicants must have a good understanding of electrical and electronic fundamentals, digital techniques and electronic instrument systems.

Units of Competencies will only be fully signed off/ Statement of Attainment issued once all underpinning theory has been successfully completed as defined in your RPL Report.

  • CASA CAR 31 / CASA PART 66 Examination Results
  • Australian (VET) Qualifications and Statements of Attainment (where applicable)
  • Foreign Licenses, Company authorisations/approvals, letters of endorsement of privileges exercised (QA)
  • Resume: timeline of your work experience and currency

The theory requirement for candidates is Module 13 (Aircraft aerodynamics, structures and systems):

  • Examination must be passed at minimum 75%
  • Courseware can be purchased here

Course contains the following units of competency (MEA206, MEA224, MEA225, MEA226, MEA228, MEA229, MEA230, MEA232, MEA235, MEA292 & MEA293).
