B1 to B2 Practical Training

Our practical course covers the units of competency (MEAs) required when adding the B2 category to your existing CASR Part 66 B1 Licence.

This is a 5-day course with options to sit-in on specific parts of the course to suit your requirements, as detailed in your RPL report.

Course contains the following units of competency (MEA206, MEA224, MEA225, MEA226, MEA228, MEA229, MEA230, MEA232, MEA235, MEA292 & MEA293).


  1. E1, E4 and E5 Exclusions must have been removed from your CASR Part 66 B1 Licence.
  2. You must have a current Aviation Australia Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessment against the CASR Part 66 B2 Licence/Aeroskills competencies.  This can be completed on the RPL section of our website.
  3. All basic knowledge exams for the CASR Part 66 B2 Licence must have been completed.
