B1 to B2 Practical Training

Our practical course covers the units of competency (MEAs) required when adding the B2 category to your existing CASR Part 66 B1 Licence.

This is a 5-day course where applicants must have a good understanding of electrical and electronic fundamentals, digital techniques and electronic instrument systems. Your suitability for the course will be assessed upon receiving full documentation for your application.

Aviation Australia will sign you off on the practical component of the Units of Competency in your journal.

The theory requirement for candidates is Module 13 (Aircraft aerodynamics, structures and systems) or CASA equivalent basics:

  • Examination must be passed at minimum 75%

This practical course covers the units of competency (MEAs) required when adding the B2 category to a CASR Part 66 B1 Licence without E1,E4,E5 & E6 exclusions.

Course contains the following units of competency (MEA206, MEA224, MEA225, MEA226, MEA228, MEA229, MEA230, MEA232, MEA235, MEA292 & MEA293).
