B1 to B2 Practical Training

Our practical course covers the units of competency (MEAs) required when adding the B2 category to your existing CASR Part 66 B1 Licence.

This is a 5-day course with options to sit-in on specific parts of the course to suit your requirements, as detailed in your RPL report.

Applicants must have a good understanding of electrical and electronic fundamentals, digital techniques and electronic instrument systems.

Aviation Australia RPL customers, Apprentices and Trainees

Cost:

AUD $2,690 per week / $1000 daily rate

Duration:

Up to 5 Days

Location:

Brisbane

Course contains the following units of competency (MEA206, MEA224, MEA225, MEA226, MEA228, MEA229, MEA230, MEA232, MEA235, MEA292 & MEA293).

Requirements:

  1. If you are not yet an Aviation Australia customer, please Contact Us or enrol via the RPL section of our website.
  2. Applicants must have at least two years’ practical experience in aircraft maintenance.
  3. Applicants must have a good understanding of electrical and electronic fundamentals, digital techniques and electronic instrument systems.

Outcome:

  1. Upon successful completion of assessments, practical element of MEAs will be recorded and RPL reports and/or Journals will be updated.
  2. MEAs will only be fully signed-off once all underpinning theory and pre-requisite Units of Competency have been satisfied.
