E12 Exclusion Removal Training

This exclusion removal training is designed to meet all requirements necessary to remove the E12 exclusion from your CASR Part 66 B1.1/B1.2 category licence.

There are two different options for you to choose from for this course;

  1. Self-Study + Practical
  2. Practical only

 

COURSE OUTCOMES / CERTIFICATION

Upon successful completion of this course, you may be eligible for:

  • CASA Form 465 – provided to CASA.
  • CASA Certificate of Recognition – listing all Part 66 examinations completed.
  • AQF Statement of Attainment – listing all Units of Competency successfully completed.

  • Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (with E12 exclusion)
  • Aviation Australia RPL customers
  • Apprentices/ Trainees (this will be vetted on a case by case basis)

NOTE – Upload restrictions: Individual file maximum size is 5120kB and 10MB total per online application.

The theory requirement is Module 17 (Propellers and Propeller Systems):

Please note the following:

  • The course cost is inclusive of RPL assessment for E12, self-study online courseware for Module 17 and relevant examination which will be taken on the same day of the course. This must be passed at minimum 75%.
  • Access to courseware will be provided approximately 4 weeks before course commencement or upon enrolment confirmation (whichever occurs first).
  • Aviation Australia recommends minimum 4 weeks of self-study for the theory requirement.

Alternative option to complete Module 17 theory:

  • Examinations can be booked here

The practical course covers the practical requirements identified in the CASR Part 66 Manual of Standards for Exclusions E12. The practical course is designed for experienced engineers who have completed the theory course.

Course contains the following units of competency (MEA307, MEA315).
