The Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Program

Launch your career with the first ever combined Diploma + Bachelor pathway specialising in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering.

If you have a passion for Aviation and you are looking at combining EASA approved training while future proofing your career getting ready for an industry constantly evolving with the latest technology, this is the right course for you.

This program has a duration of 3 years and is delivered in two stages:

Stage 1: Diploma of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering delivered at Aviation Australia. You will undertake 90 weeks of EASA training which includes 1164 of practical maintenance experience at Aviation Australia’s hangars with a wide range of aircraft, helicopters, engines and training aids. Upon completion of the course, you will qualify with a Diploma of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (recognised Australia wide) and a European Union Safety Agency Certificate of Recognition (EASA COR – for the purpose of EASA Part-66 licence application).

Stage 2: you will then progress into the Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Aircraft Maintenance) delivered at CQ University. You will undertake additional 18 months of training having the chance to graduate with a Bachelor as well as meeting the requirements to obtain an Australian Remote Pilot Licence.

Please note the following before applying:

• You cannot access the Bachelor component without completing the Diploma of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering first.
