Stage 1: Diploma of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering delivered at Aviation Australia. You will undertake 90 weeks of EASA training which includes 1164 of practical maintenance experience at Aviation Australia’s hangars with a wide range of aircraft, helicopters, engines and training aids. Upon completion of the course, you will qualify with a Diploma of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (recognised Australia wide) and a European Union Safety Agency Certificate of Recognition (EASA COR – for the purpose of EASA Part-66 licence application).
Stage 2: you will then progress into the Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Aircraft Maintenance) delivered at CQ University. You will undertake additional 18 months of training having the chance to graduate with a Bachelor as well as meeting the requirements to obtain an Australian Remote Pilot Licence.
The 3-year Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Aircraft Maintenance - Avionics or Mechanical) is delivered in partnership by Aviation Australia and CQUniversity Australia. The course provides students with the underpinning knowledge and skills to excel in management roles within aircraft maintenance facilities.
