Our current students enrolling in the January and April 2024 intake will continue in completing the current existing syllabus.
The new syllabus will only be effective for intakes starting after June 12, 2024, therefore it is not permitted to start the new syllabus before this date
You can retake any training sessions with incomplete attendance in the theory or practical components to meet the 90% attendance requirement under the old syllabus. However, this must be completed by June 12, 2026. Please contact us to confirm availability and cost.
This will be conducted under the new syllabus and determined on a case-by-case basis.
You can still complete any remaining examinations, but they must be completed before June 12, 2026.
You will have ten years from the start date of the training program to complete all examinations and gain the required experience before applying for an EASA Part 66 Licence.
You must complete all examinations via the same organization (e.g. Aviation Australia) in which you enrolled for the training course, as you are in the transition period of the regulation changes

While this is the standard provision, during this transition period, you must complete ALL examinations by June 12, 2026 under the old (pre 12 June 2024) syllabus(es).

Passes in EASA modules, either in old (pre-June 12 2024) or new (post-June 12 2024) will be equally accepted.
Training held by Aviation Australia started before June 12, 2024, will be considered equally valid for licensing purposes as the updated syllabus.
