Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC)

 

Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) course prepares pilots for airline multicrew environments through communication, coordination, leadership and decision making training.

Course Fees $7,100 (GST Exempt) AUD. No Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is available for this course. 3 Units of Competencies can be attributed towards the AVI60219 Advanced Diploma of Aviation via RPL process.

Duration 5 day course.

Multi-Crew Pilot Training Endorsement (MCP-TE)

Multi-Crew Pilot Training Endorsement (MCP-TE) is a CASA approved qualification enabling experienced flight and simulator instructors to teach MCC and ATPL related multicrew training using structured, airline aligned methodologies.

AVI60219 Advanced Diploma of Aviation (Pilot in Command) via Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Option 1 – AVI60219 Advanced Diploma of Aviation (Pilot in Command) via Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

We offer a nationally recognised qualification designed for professional pilots that can acknowledge their experience in command capability, operational decision‑making, safety and risk‑management skills, with pathways that may include ATPL theory, MCC training, and further postgraduate study options.

Prerequisites: Applicants must either:

  • Hold a CASA ATPL and have multi-crew pilot experience, or
  • Hold a CASA CPL and hold (or have held) an instrument rating (MEIR 2D & 3D) and hold a CASA MCC qualification and passes in all 7 ATPL examinations

Course delivery: Online and practical training with 2 units of study (AVIO0016 Manage Security Procedures as Pilot in Command and AVIF0028 Manage aviation risk) completed online.

Cost: $2,500 AUD.

  • $500 fee is payable for formal assessment of your RPL (this fee must be paid on enrolment).
  • $2,000 fee is payable for the 2 remaining online course components. Payment plans are available.

Option 2 – AVI60219 Advanced Diploma of Aviation (Pilot in Command) via Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

We offer a nationally recognised qualification designed for professional pilots that can acknowledge their experience in command capability, operational decision‑making, safety and risk‑management skills, with pathways that may include ATPL theory, MCC training, and further postgraduate study options.

Prerequisites: Applicants must:

  • Hold a CASA CPL and,
  • Hold (or have held) an instrument rating (MEIR 2D & 3D) and,
  • Have passes in all 7 ATPL examinations

 Course delivery:

  • Online and practical training with 2 units of study (AVIO0016 Manage Security Procedures as Pilot in Command and AVIF0028 Manage aviation risk) completed online. The only resources needed are a computer and a reliable internet connection. These units must be completed before commencing the MCC.
  • The MCC is the remaining portion of the course and comprises of3 days self-paced online (to be completed at least one week prior to onsite training taking place) and 5 days in person (1 day theory, 4 days practical) 

Cost: $8,500 AUD.

  • $500 fee is payable for formal assessment of your RPL (this fee must be paid on enrolment).
  • $8,000 fee is payable for the online & practical course components.

AVI60219 Advanced Diploma of Aviation (Pilot in Command)

AVI60219 Advanced Diploma of Aviation (Pilot in Command) is a nationally recognised qualification designed for commercial pilots seeking to deepen their command capability, operational decision making, safety and risk management skills, with pathways that may include ATPL theory, MCC training, and further postgraduate study options. Whilst self-paced this course is structured in its delivery.

Course delivery: All 7 ATPL theory subjects (with supplied course books and study materials). 2 Online Modules.
MCC course – Facilitated at either BNE/SYD/MEL training bases.

Course duration: 1 year full time or as RPL report identified requirements.

Course Fees: $16,000 AUD (GST exempt).
