AVI20219 – Certificate II in Aviation (Ground Operations and Service)

No aircraft leaves the ground without a dedicated team of staff from cabin crew, check-in and customer service staff to operations, crew controllers and baggage handlers. It’s a hands-on and extremely rewarding career path where you literally see your hard work take off.

This is funded by the Northern Territory Government. Available for eligible applicants.

 

To be eligible to enrol in VETDSS, applicants must:

  • Be currently enrolled in either Year 10, 11 or 12 at a Northern Territory school;
  • Permanently reside in the Northern Territory; AND
  • Be an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident (includes humanitarian entrant); New Zealand citizen or temporary resident with the necessary visa and work permits on the pathway to permanent residency.

 

Evidence to support your eligibility must be supplied and verified prior to enrolment. This may include a number of the below items:

  • A letter from your school confirming your enrolment and details (required);
  • Northern Territory Drivers Licence;
  • Proof of Age Card;
  • Medicare Card (green);
  • Australian Passport;
  • Australian Birth Certificate.
